Version 2.5
Find and play any song, in any room with Sonos Search
Sonos lets you find exactly what you want so you can play it wherever you want.
Search from the palm of your hand.
Now you don't have to be in front of your PC to find and play the songs you love. With the Sonos Controller in hand you can search your personal music library or favourite music service by Album, Artist, or Track.
Plus, lots of great Sonos enhancements including:
- Better Now Playing display. For titles, artists or albums with long names, we've added a test-scrolling feature in the Now Playing window so you can see the entire name.
- More add to queue options. When adding new music to the queue, you select "Play now & replace queue" which clears your existing queue and starts playing the new music you've added to your queue right away.
- Easier playlist saving. You can edit an existing playlist and then save over it or rename it and save it as a new playlist.
- Better zone management. "Drop all zones" lets you simultaneously drop all grouped zones with a single click.
- New motion sensor option. You can choose to disable the motion sensor when the Controller is charging so it won't wake up... or wake you up...before your alarm goes off.
- Better network attached storage support Sonos now supports an even broader range of network attached storage (NAS) devices for your growing digital music collection.
